Adult Literacy for Life in City of Dublin

Adult Literacy for Life is a whole-of-society strategy. It aims to ensure that everyone has the literacy, numeracy and digital literacy to participate in society and succeed in life. Read the Adult Literacy for Life strategy.

Hello, my name is Andrew Connolly

I am the Regional Literacy Coordinator for City of Dublin Education and Training Board. I want to help services be accessible to everyone who has a literacy need. As a member of the Regional Literacy Coalition for Dublin, I am supporting innovative programs and collaboration. My aim is to make it easy for everyone with a literacy need to get the appropriate support.

Meet your City Of Dublin Coalition

In City of Dublin, we set up a Regional Adult Literacy Coalition to implement the Adult Literacy for Life strategy. It has representatives from lots of organisations that want to work together to improve services and supports for adults with unmet literacy, numeracy and digital literacy needs. The Coalition has written a Literacy Action Plan for The City of Dublin to help them do this.
