Adult Literacy for Life in Dublin and Dún Laoghaire

Adult Literacy for Life is a whole-of-society strategy. It aims to ensure that everyone has the literacy, numeracy and digital literacy to participate in society and succeed in life. Read the Adult Literacy for Life strategy.

Hello, I'm Fiona Kavanagh

I'm the acting Regional Literacy Coordinator for the Dublin Dún Laoghaire Region. Literacy isn't just about individuals; it involves everyone in the community. Together, we can work to break down barriers, share knowledge and help adults with unmet literacy, numeracy and digital literacy needs.

Meet your Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Literacy Coalition

Our Regional Adult Literacy Coalition has created an action plan. It aims to support organisations to become more literacy aware, accessible and inclusive. We hope to help organisations to effectively assist those they support.  Our plan aims to support individuals to easily access the help they need to improve their skills. Please contact me to find out more about Literacy Awareness Training, Plain English support or accessing your local Literacy Service.
