Hello, my name is Iryna Avalishvili, and I am the Regional Literacy Coordinator at Kildare and Wicklow ETB.

My professional background includes English language teaching, school management, teacher training, curriculum design, and adult education. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating inclusive learning opportunities and supporting adults to build confidence and skills that can positively impact their lives.

The Adult Literacy for Life strategy gives us an important opportunity to work collaboratively with communities, organisations, and learners to address unmet literacy needs and create more accessible pathways to learning and participation.

I am absolutely delighted to be in this role and look forward to working with individuals, community groups, and partner organisations to help reduce barriers to learning, raise awareness of literacy needs and supports, and enable people to reach their full potential.

Meet your Kildare and Wicklow Literacy Coalition

We have formed our Kildare and Wicklow Regional Adult Literacy Coalition. This Coalition will agree and deliver on an annual Regional Action Plan that supports the ALL Strategy.
