10:20-10:40: Literacy Champions - Regional spotlight 

10:40-12:00: World Café Projects supporting the aims of the Adult Literacy for Life strategy will share their experience and join discussion in small table groups with the purpose of sharing practice and germinating ideas to bring back to regional and national contexts. 

12:00-12:45:  Coffee break - Tea and coffee and visit with Project Exhibits.   

12:45-13:00: SOLAS address   

13:00-13:15: Plain Language -launch eLearning module

13:15-13:30: Regional Coalitions – The journey so far: Nickie Egan, Integrated Services Manager TUSLA Education Support Service, Regional Coalition member.

13:30-13:45:  Keynote address: Marian Harkin, Minister of State, Department of Higher and Further Education, Research, and Science 

13:45-14:30: Networking lunch 

14:30-15:45:  Workshops:  

(1) Family Literacy workshop: The dance of engagement by Dr Lána McCarthy, Lecturer SETU LDC;  

(2) Making Sense: Financial Literacy Education in Action;  

(3) Numeracy Workshop: Defining, identifying and teaching Numeracy to Adult Learners;  

(4) Everyday Media Literacy: Being Media Smart workshop with Martina Chapman of Media Literacy Ireland.
