This project helped older adults use smartphones and iPads for communication, everyday tasks, online safety, banking, shopping, and leisure.

Two informal workshops took place in five locations: Ballinskelligs, The Glen, Portmagee, Dromid, and Cahersiveen.
The project brought digital literacy workshops directly into rural communities, instead of older adults having to travel to education centres. It used an informal, non-classroom approach.
Learners showed improved confidence in
using devices,
communicating,
online banking/shopping,
recognising scams, and
using devices for music/videos.
