About this project
This project aimed to build literacy and communication skills among women's groups in the Cherry Orchard estate.
The course combined craft work with literacy and helped learners gain confidence and new skills in a comfortable environment.

The course was divided into short interactive courses:
Literacy through Crafts,
Preparing for Work, and
Speak Out Loud.
Tutors delivered in-person training through two six-week workshops and one four-week workshop.
The interactive courses used role-playing, presentations, and peer supports to help learners improve their literacy skills.
