About this project
This project helped people in addiction recovery by providing an accessible course that promotes confidence and a positive sense of identity.
The course created a supportive, peer-led environment for learning and personal development. It combined classroom learning, physical activity, and recovery support in a single programme.
More about this project
The project combined boxing training, physical fitness, education, and recovery supports in a 20-week programme.
Facilitators delivered an Addiction Studies Level 5 course through structured workshops, peer workshops, and in-person group sessions.
The Health and Fitness Level 4 course used classroom-based workshops, in-person classes and experiential learning during boxing lessons.
