About this project
This project helped learners use new tools and AI (Artificial Intelligence) applications on their phones. Workshops focused on effective prompting, an important skill when using AI tools. Educators taught learners how to calculate travel distances and meal portions with these tools.
Workshops took place in Knockanrawely and Tipperary library in late 2025. Participants gained hands-on experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to solve problems. Learners now have a greater understanding of how AI creates content and how they can refine AI-generated outputs.
Educators used fun and games to engage participants. AI tools made learning more accessible by providing translations and creating exercises that catered to different styles of learning. Learners really enjoyed using AI to create a menu during the food preparation class.
