About this project
The café gave organisations practical ways to communicate climate and sustainability messages in a literacy-friendly manner.
The event built an understanding step by step by:
first identifying the key messages that organisations wanted to communicate,
considering what concepts and language was difficult to understand, and
working on different scenarios with the aim of putting themselves in the shoes of their audience and brainstorming clearer approaches.
A pocket guide to climate action was produced as part as an example of plain language climate communication.
The workshop outline is reproduceable and available for others to use.
