)
The project partners were
Corlann (West)
Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB)
About this project
This project developed an accessible digital literacy self-assessment tool using plain language principles.
It also offered personalised digital learning pathways linked to assistive technology.
More about this project
56 learners took part in three six-week GRETB digital literacy courses in Castlerea, Roscommon town, and Athenry.
Participants engaged with
digital skills assessments,
assistive technology support,
device trials,
one-to-one sessions, and
group classes.
The project played a huge part in reducing the digital divide for learners supported by Corlann.
“They are very enthusiastic to take part in another course in the future.” - quote from a facilitator
