About this project

This project helped residents in the Balseskin  National Reception Centre improve their digital  literacy skills.

Workshops covered digital  safety and parental engagement with school apps and were tailored for international protection applicants.

More about this project

Eight workshops, four on school apps and four on online safety, took place at the  Balseskin  National Reception Centre.

Course content focused on safe navigation of online services and social media, not just practical  digital skills.

“The training was good; it has opened [my eyes] to be careful with my personal information online.” — quote from a learner
