This project improved literacy,  numeracy , and digital skills for people with disabilities through horticultural learning.

Donegal Education and Training Board (DETB) tutor Anne Craig, along with horticulturists Michael Hennigan and Helen McLaughlin delivered weekly two-hour sessions over eight weeks.

Classroom and community garden activities included real-life tasks such as

  • measuring soil,

  • counting seeds,

  • reading labels,  and

  • following instructions.
