About this project
This project improved money management skills among learners from disadvantaged communities. It also deepened their understanding of how everyday financial matters relate to wider social and economic issues.
More about this project
Four financial literacy workshops took place between September and December 2025.
Tutors used participatory methods, real-life budgeting and the REFLECT (Regenerated Freirean Literacy through Empowering Community Techniques) approach to link personal finance with wider social and economic issues.
Workshops introduced a global citizenship perspective on credit, debt, tax, equality, power, and sustainability.
