About this project
This project helped adults with unmet literacy needs to support their children with reading and writing at home. It boosted the parent’s confidence and improved their literacy skills, especially for those whose children have additional needs like dyslexia.
Workshops were held in local schools, coordinated by the Home School Liaison team.
The project developed the Making Sense of Reading workbook. This enjoyable and accessible resource is filled with exercises and fun activities for parents to do with their children.
