About this project

This project provided tailored, one-to-one digital support in a familiar, accessible library setting.

Tutors helped community members with their digital devices, improved access to information and services, and reduced digital exclusion.

More about this project

Facilitators delivered two eight-week blocks of in-person, one-to-one sessions at Balbriggan Library. Learners could book hour-long appointments through the library.

Tutors provided digital support in a trusted, non-intimidating environment. This marks the first time this type of project took place in the local library in collaboration with the adult education service.

“The programme proved extremely popular, with all classes fully booked and participants expressing strong appreciation for the support they received. The tutors were outstanding—knowledgeable, patient, and highly effective in guiding learners through the material.”- quote from facilitator
