About this project

This project empowered adults with intellectual disabilities to improve their literacy, numeracy, and digital skills through furniture making.

By using furniture making, the course provided a hands-on, practical approach to learning. The course emphasised the importance of integrating literacy through work and education.

Participants saw the real-world applications of their skills, making learning more enjoyable and meaningful.
