This financial literacy course helped learners

  •  navigate online banking,

  • understand financial terminology,

  • engage with financial institutions,

  • access financial services,

  • avoid  scams, and

  • strengthen  digital  skills.

Four-week programmes were delivered to four community organisations.

Each session lasted two hours weekly and focused on

  • confidence in money management and  digital  banking,

  • reducing financial stress, and

  • increasing independence.  

Plans are in place to mainstream the programme in 2026, with four programmes in the making. The approach can be adopted by other  regions and services.
