About this project
This project provided Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in numeracy for further education tutors. It also strengthened numeracy content knowledge and classroom practices.

One online CPD session took place in May 2025. Six in-person workshops followed in October and November 2025 across Dublin, Cork, and Athlone Education and Training Boards (ETBs).
An academic team with expertise in numeracy and teacher education developed the materials and workshops.
Facilitators
used maths thinking and conceptual approaches,
piloted micro-credentials/digital badges, and
gathered tutor profile data to inform future provision.
