About this project
This project developed a culturally appropriate course and training materials for future Traveller community health workers.
The project also addressed recruitment and retention by supporting a new cohort through accredited training.

City of Dublin ETB staff collaborated with Pavee Point to identify training needs and map these to certified QQI Level 4 modules.
Learner and partner feedback informed how training materials were prepared. Assessments reflect real work situations, such as home visits and advocacy.
Classroom-based sessions took place in the Saint Olivers training centre in November 2025. CDETB staff delivered the QQI modules , while Pavee Point organised additional training on mental health and domestic violence.
